We recently had a fairly large consignment account come to an end and after taking all of the leftover items off the sales floor we discovered we were a bit low on Girls clothes!
We have a bit in a range of sizes from 4 to 14 but nothing larger and not very many in the sizes we DO have!
We are looking for donations or consignment of any of these sizes (we have PLENTY of infant and toddler girls clothes on the racks and in storage, so we are not looking for the little sizes at this time).
If you are interested in donating or consigning clothing with us, please review our Consignment Guidelines (By Clicking Here or at the top of this page where it says Consignment), to be sure that you have what we are looking for.
If you are donating (instead of receiving compensation) please call ahead to let us know when you will be in so that we can make sure someone is available to take care of the donation. If you are wanting to open a Consignment Account you will need to print off the Consignment Contract and Intake Form (both can be found on our Consignment page above) complete both and then call to make an appointment to get your account set up!
A good portion of the children’s clothing for sale at Twice Loved Boutique are on Consignment from local sellers. After February 7, 2009 we will no longer be carrying children’s clothing on consignment. This is temporary, for approximately 6 months. Mostly due to the new CPSIA regulations (I don’t have any information listed here on my blog as a lot of it is confusing and it honestly gives me a headache to try and explain it), the CSPC is working on these new regulations, but for the time being I am not comfortable selling children’s clothing on behalf of my consignors.
I will continue carefully selling items that I, myself, already have in stock, that I own outright, and will be working on collecting items that I am 100% positive meet the new safety standards, and of the items already in stock, I will only be selling those which I am certain are safe for you and your child(ren).
Also, on a personal note, I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and have begun having troubles with my blood pressure, so I am currently on doctors orders to “take it easy”, with strict bedrest being next in line if things don’t clear up by my next checkup. I have decided that for the safety of both myself and my unborn baby, and because I have been unable to find someone suitable to open our Brick and Mortar store in Brooks, Maine until I am able to run things myself, that I will only be selling Online until after the baby is born.
Plans are already under way for a 1 year anniversary/grand re-opening party in our store, to be held in May.
Until our store re-opens in May, customers may STILL continue to purchase items online and choose Store Pickup as their Payment/Shipping option (Local Customers Only, No shipping charges are applied even though they show on the invoice you print to bring in, unless you are purchasing Mineral Makeup that is not in stock).
If you are a local customer and choose store pickup, then I will contact you via email and/or phone, to schedule a time for you to pick up your merchandise.
