People always ask me what inspired me to open my resale and consignment store, Twice Loved Boutique. Well, it’s quite simple. I had too much stuff. Stuff in my attic, stuff in my closet, stuff in my kids dressers, you name it!

I started out selling my excess “stuff” on eBay, and when that started to take off, I looked for other places to get things to sell, and began to build a large inventory of things to sell in my attic (kind of the opposite of what I was trying to do in the first place… started cleaning it out, and wound up filling it up!).

After having a change of heart about selling on eBay, my husband and I began talking and decided that he would clean the garage out and convert it to a store front for me. This was in February of 2008. On May 31, 2008, Twice Loved Boutique had its official Grand Opening.

I have always wanted to be self employed. After years of trying different direct sales companies, drop shipping, you name it, I have finally found something that works for me!

Growing up, my father had his own business doing small engine repair, and my grandfather was the Manager of a local Gardening and Livestock Feed store, I think that by seeing this while growing up, it kind of inspired me to NOT want to work for someone else. I just never understood the concept of working hard my whole life to make someone else rich.

On top of all that, I have kids, and stressful as it may be at times, it has always been my top priority to raise them myself, not hire someone else to do it in my absence.

So there you have it, my reasons and inspirations for opening Twice Loved Boutique, where I provide people with high quality gently used clothing, shoes & accessories, discount mineral makeup, and much more!
